Free and Easy Hong Kong (Day 3 Part 2)

It has been awhile since my last blog. So, do try to understand as I try to remember the schedule. Oh yes, day 3 in this part 2 series, we are at Ocean Park. We have taken the cable car to the next stop. Here, the children is taking a photo with a mermaid....if look carefully...McD exist in the park but the price is a bit steep. Hence, there are other foods inside the Ocean Park, so just look around..you can missed it.

Next stop is to watch the Jelly Fish, this is one of the Ocean Park stuff which is not to missed.

The building looks much better that the previous Ocean Aquarium, so enjoy the jelly fish ...






After enjoying the jelly fish, as we are located very close to the cable car station. Ok..ON BOARD ...the cable car back to the main entrance theme park. Because there are some shows which is on-going on that theme.

(PS: There are many shows like what Disney is offering. So plan properly)

When we are at the main entrance theme park, there is still plenty of time to enjoy. So, we go and visit THE BEAR...

WOI!!!! Apa ini.....tidur punya BEAR...oops...sorry it is the PANDA which I am trying to state :)

Never scare, ther is more than 1 Panda...see this in action as it began eat some bamboo shoots.


If look at the picture, the Panda seems to watching us first before consuming the foods....as it trying to tell us..."Don't bother me...I am taking a snack" ha!ha!

OK....need to go some birds performing...


Exciting at the beginning, them started boring. My youngest tumbang......zzzzzzzz

So, we move to the next show if in time since the elder is awake and seems to be enjoying it. See Sea Lion and the big...one...forget ...remind me ok.



Most of the presentation is either in Mandarin or English. They mixed them....so if you know Mandarin and don't know English...so you are half hald la!!! Anyway, if should not be a concern as they try to link them. The sea lion show so so only la!!! Never seen a live one....so excited at the begining...later my elder also tumbang...what to do tired already.......so take rest and continue on Part 3 .

Free and Easy Hong Kong (Day 3 Part 1)

Day 3 for Free and Easy vacation only in Hong Kong with kids. Day 3 is to visit Ocean Park. So, you don't much option if you don't have friends with car in Hong Kong. You either choose the taxis or the bus. Bus you need to go to Admiralbility Station ( not sure correct spelling or not). There you need to find the bus that takes you direct to Ocean Park. The bus starts the journey at 9am in the morning. It is a double decker bus.

The journey is about 30-45 minutes as it is located at the end of the Hong Kong island. OK, this is the main gate of the Ocean Park.


There are 2 gates, if you reached there early, you go through the main gates. Oh yes, the park opens at 10am...so do what..nothing...just wait or line up to checked-in. The photos of the ticket to the park.


OK...we are now in Ocean Park. There are 2 main attraction as a whole, park which is closed to main gate, most of the attraction is cater to those people with very young ages because there are playground and games for their ages. For youngster, mostly is for enjoyment of the PANDAs.......What PANDA...yup!!!

Anyway, follow through the blog and we will show it to you. So the next park is the side gate at Tsuen Wan. So to travel between the 2 parks, you have 2 choice, either through air or water. Water is Ocean Express loh!!!

The other through air is cabel car and we choose cabel car for now to see the scenery.

Not bad scenery and the journey is about 5-10minutes of ride. So enjoy them. We are going to see the Jelly Fish but unable to find them...lead us all the way to this ATOLL REEF.

Inside the building, there is a huge tank to cater for all the underwater sea creatures...fantastic..outside the building looks very unattractive but inside... must not missed especially those fanatic on oceanworld.

We were at the top of the tank and not moving down, as we move down, there is alot of aquarium which show case other under sea creatures such as NEMO and many more. I took a few only.

Now, we can see clearly..... how nice and clear the water.

Wow!! Plenty of sea creatures and large also.....just a samples of a few pictures been taken.

Free and Easy Hong Kong (Day 2 Part 3)

This is the final part of the Day 2 in Hong Kong during the visit on Disney. There are so many pictures until I have to take it to 3 parts and omitting some pictures which I believe it is repeated. Anyway, it won't stop from there. I would continue to update the blog even though it is a pass as long as there are request for further information which I believe it would be helpful to share to others instead of to those who e-mails me.

Ok back to Disney tour. After the Parade, we went to Adventure land to see the "Lion King"Show. Not bad and exciting as tries to narigate a person through the Lion King's story in summary. Some of the pictures been taken inside the hall. It is damn dark and no lights are allowed by photos. Hmm....headache....as my children are scared....the elder one...the young one...brave but quite...that I am skptical.

Saw the PIG......correction not the PIG but Hutan PIG....he!he!

After that show, we went to have a picture taken with the castle as I presume most people have taken it as it is already about 5-6pm already.


When through the castle which is called the "Fantasy Land". We are going to see the 3D shows staring my favorite Donald Duck.....with Mickey, Minnie and Goofy as the suporters.


Still very old style, not the expensive 3D glass. Anyway, it is fun with the 3D as my kids enjoy the shows with Donald plenty of silly mistakes and takes on the journey through Memaid, Aladdin....my memory is bad...I remember got even Beauty and the Beast and much more.Right after the shows, we saw sand sculpture of the Disney charaters like Jumbo the Elephant, Peter Pan, The chipmunks (what is their name I always forgot) and many more...Nice huh!!



Ok very close to 8:00pm already where the fire works is going to start...took some pictures while walking towards the castle.


Even though it is still early, we are still not able to get a good shot and space to see as there are alot of people. Like most other blogs have adviced, if you want to watch the Parade or the Fireworks, make sure you find a good spot 1/2 hour before the shows started. Fireworks varies according to day, sometimes at 8pm or 8:30pm. Checked the schedule. As our location is at the side of the castle, I did not takes any photo as it would not be nice. Anyway, took a night view of the castle as a souvenier...he!he!

OK time to go back to hotel, walk along the USA street and took some photos as a free souvenier again..he!he!..no time to even go in and have a look with the 2 kids along....safe alot of money. But adviced, if you just want to buy souvenier, you can buy them cheaper at the airport but less variety. You call the shots....


Lastly, the train station once you enter through the ticket checked-in which I did not took the picture when we come in. Why take now? Easy ...when we checked-in, there were alot of people. Going back also alot but we slow down and enjoy the occasion because I do not want to cramp into a sardine inside the MRT Cabin.

Lastly, a greet from Mickey Mouse Himself....GOOD BYE!!!

Wait.....what am I having for dinner. Since we so tired, we makan Maggi Mee. We bought from Malaysia to Hong Kong (Import). Saves alot of money....we took only a few just incase lazy to makan outside. But we bought alot of juices to drink which you cannot find in Malaysial. Why no Photos....how clumsy am I ....never prompt me to do so.....Next chapter...OCEAN PARK.


(PS: While in Disney, they give stiskers to children. Hence, here are some examples of sticker been given for free for the kids only.....)

Free and Easy Hong Kong (Day 2 Part 2)

Continued with the Journey in Disney, as spend a whole day in Disney, therefore there are alot of photos to be shared. Hence enjoyed. This blog will continued to be updated with further link and information. Currently, it is at a preliminary stages where photos been uploaded for enjoyment and possible useful planned for some.

We were resting very close at the "Tomorrowland" with photos with Stitch. Hee!hee! No idea why my daugther likes it maybe because of the costume fabric...he!he!

Tomorrowland is easily identified as most of the stuff been provided is more suitable for people ages I think 9 and above but depending on heights. Why...you see Stitch right...he is from where...not from earth...meaning more advance world loh!!!



We did not do much at Tomorrowland but resting to watch "Golden Mickeys". Recommend not to be missed because it is a musical shows with the cartoons together such as Mickey, Donold, Goofy, Pluto, and other Disney charaters in Aladin, Toy story, Little Mermaid and many more.

Some of the photos managed to capture inside the show.......worth it to see.




The Golden Mickeys show is about 20minutes (I guess). Anyway, after the show we try to find a good spot to rest again.....my children sleeping...no choice. Still, we need to find a good spot whether sleeping or not. Because the parade is about to be started...so we have 1/2 hour to rest and find a good place to sit and watch without disturbance. Lukily find a shaded with place to sit, so we waited for the parade to start. During my visit, it is "Water" theme....because the weather is pretty hot!!! Again, once you watch the photos, you know why must see this parade...

Here comes Mr Buzz.....as the first charater coming out......


Pigs also coming out but look at the back of the PIGS...water sprawling to the people who is watching....luckily got bring umbrella. Pity is that I need to carry my son on one hand and the other is hand is taking pictures. So...where to hand my umbrella....you guess la!! No tips on how to do so....but still need to take photos.

Did not get a chance to take photos and Minnie and Daisy but managed to get a phot from parade. Delighted and happy....my kids may not even know what is this character..more like parents going back to childhood...


The pretty ladies charater....sorry....did not get a good photos of them..what to do ...holding a child, umbrella and camera...and I still want to watch live....


My favourite charater...DONALD DUCK....until today I don't understand much of his world and grumbling but I know when it is deligted with the word "Oh boy! Oh boy! Oh Boy!"

Next is Mickey.....how come I took a photo of Guard...normal la!!! Mickey is out....all the people wants to take good photo....I sit loh!!! Guard.....angle also take....If he sees this picture, send an e-mail to me and I send to him...no probemo!
Water machine gun from Mickey's cart....he!he!.....all the cards have this type....managed to get a photo of it.

Did not expect to see "Pooh and the The Gang". They also take umbrella....



Finally, Toy Story and a smuck......yuck!!!! I did not asked for it.....
